Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged HIM faithful WHO had promised.   Heb.11:11

 

I know, I know, judging GOD sounds completely ridiculous, doesn't it?  Or does it?  Let's think about it...

People that don't understand GOD and things that have happened judge GOD.  They judge HIM in their choice not to serve HIM or seek HIM because they feel as though whatever has transpired was too much to bear and it's GOD's fault that it happened, seeing as how HE's supposed to be sovereign and all powerful, and HE is.  We pass judgment on GOD everyday by our choice to or not to do what the WORD of GOD says.  When we don't do the WORD, we pass judgment that GOD doesn't know best and that we can do a better job of running our lives.  When we do do the WORD, we judge that GOD is true and that every man is a liar, as scripture states(Rom.3:4), and that HIS way is what's best for us.

 There are two forms of judging that take place. 1)Judging without facts or information which results in formulated opinion which is usually untrue(the kind we shouldn't do), and 2)judging based on the information and facts presented us.  Judgment can be both a blessing and a curse, whereas we not only come under judgment for what we have or have not done of a detriment according to the WORD of GOD, but we have or have not done that is a blessing according to that same WORD.

So let's stack GOD's resume up and look at the facts, because as funny as it sounds, GOD wants us to judge HIM and HIS way as right for us....

We know that HE's holy( I Pet.1:16).  We know that HE's just(Deut.32:4). We know that HE's perfect(Deut.18:13).  We know that HE loves us unconditionally(Rom.5:8).  We know that HE's faithful(Deut.7:9).  We know that HE's fair(Psa.98:9).  We know that HE is jealous for us(Exo.34:14).  We know that HE has a plan for our lives(Jer.29:11).  We know that HE has made us great and precious promises(II Pet.1:4).  We know that HE does not like sin or sinners(Psa.5:4,7:11 & John 9:31).  We know that although sins separates us from HIM, HE's given us a path back to redemption(John 3:16).  We know HE visits the lowliest at their darkest point with comfort(II Cor.7:6).  We know there is no rest outside of HIS will(Isa.48:22,57:21).  We know that's HE's not like us(Isa.55:8).  We know HE can not lie(Titus 1:2).  We know we'll never fully be able to figure HIM out(Isa.55:9).  But we do know that we can have HIM and what HE offers if we only open up our mouths and hearts and ask(Rom.10:9, James 1:5), but we've gotta have faith(Heb.11:6).

Sounds like GOD is rock solid.  So what are you waiting on?  Why don't you take a chance today and judge GOD to be right.  Judge HIM worthy of your love and service.  Judge HIM worthy of your praise and worship.  Judge HIM worthy of your patience and trust.  Step out on faith, whether it's for the first time or for the greatest time in your life thus far, and judge GOD true.  Try HIM, I think you'll like HIM(Psa.34:8)!
